Educational Background and Military Service
Mr. McKinstry earned both his Juris Doctor and MBA from Arizona State University, blending his legal knowledge with a strong foundation in business principles. Prior to his legal career, he served honorably as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, where he held the position of logistician and Aide-de-Camp. During his service in the Fleet Marine Force Atlantic, he was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for exemplary service and was discharged with the rank of Captain.
Rooted in Colorado with a Rich Heritage
As a fourth-generation Coloradan, Mr. McKinstry’s family has deep roots in Colorado’s Western Slope, where they have a legacy of ranching and raising champion Arabian horses. His grandfather served with distinction in the 10th Mountain Division during World War II, adding to Patrick’s rich family history of dedication and service to the community.
